Round Birch Wood Silhouette Ornament
A custom hand-drawn silhouette, engraved onto 1/8” birch wood and tied with velvet ribbon. Approx. 3.5” circle. Packaged in a muslin gift bag. Please note: birch wood varies in color, texture, and wood markings, making each piece unique. FREE 5x7 print included.
Please email me with your silhouette image(s) after ordering and include your order number in the subject line: remembernovemberinc@gmail.com. I will email your proof before we start engraving your ornament so please reply promptly so you can receive your ornament as quickly as possible! Please make sure you love the facial expression and angle in your reference photo because I draw exactly what I see.
How to take the perfect picture for your silhouette:
-Make sure the subject is standing straight and facing forward, with you looking at their side profile. You will need to be at the same eye level of the subject when you take the photo. Try to capture the side profile exactly as you want it illustrated.
-The best silhouettes are made from natural facial expressions and closed mouths (I recommend avoiding big smiles since this will alter the lip and face shape)
-I recommend pulling long hair up into a cute bun or ponytail. We can also add a bow, just let me know when you send your photo :)
-Solid color backgrounds work best
I may ask you to submit several photos until I have the one that will make a perfect silhouette.
